- Representatives from the colleges review spreadsheets provided by the Office of the Registrar and propose any suggested changes.
- Spreadsheets are posted for a 14-calendar day review period on the landing page of the OneUSF Banner Sharepoint site.
- If you have concerns about the proposed changes, please send an email message to telltheregistrar@usf.edu. In the email message, state your concerns and proposed solutions.
- After the 14-day review period closes, members of the Office of Graduate Studies or Office of Undergraduate Studies (depending on the level of the course) will review the proposed changes and any concerns.
- After the GS/UGS review, the appropriate Faculty Council (Graduate Council, Undergraduate Council, General Education Council) will review the proposed changes.
- Faculty Council approves changes, denies or requests further information.
- Course changes approved by the appropriate Faculty Council are submitted to SCNS.
- Once approved by SCNS, the course changes are made in OASIS (Banner), catalog, and course inventory.

No curricula was integrated as part of consolidation for the following colleges:
3. College/Department Mapping (Coming Soon)
4. Curricula Crosswalk Flowcharts
The ODS-Academic Planning and Operational Reporting team created crosswalk flowcharts that provide details around the movement of the programs from their current state, prior to consolidation, to their state once consolidated. The crosswalks detail CIP code, college and department/school codes, major and concentration codes. They also detail where the program are currently offered (pre-consolidation) and where they will be offered post-consolidation.

In Spring 2019, Ad-Hoc Faculty Disciplinary Committees reviewed current curricula, student learning outcomes, and sequenced semester plans for the thirty-eight degree programs requiring integration (programs offered on more than one USF campus). Based on the Committees’ collaborative efforts and review of materials, each Ad-Hoc Faculty Disciplinary Committee developed cohesive curricula to be offered post-consolidation.
The Intercampus Consolidation Committee for Curricular Change (I4C) was created out of a need for a cross-campus Faculty Senate curriculum committee to review the proposed integrated curricula. The I4C holds the same role as the current Faculty Senate curriculum review bodies and serves as the primary faculty advisory body to the University of South Florida Tampa Executive Vice President and Provost on matters that pertain to the University’s degree program curricular and sub-curricular integration/alignment. The I4C has the responsibility to review and make recommendations considering decisions related to curricular integration/alignment for defining the curricula for USF as an institution with a single accreditation.
During May 2019, the I4C reviewed and approved the proposed integrated curricula for the thirty-eight degree programs that require integration.
Following are the templates, listed by CIP code title, for each degree program that required integration:
College of Arts and Sciences Degree Programs
College of Behavioral and Community Sciences Degree Programs
Muma College of Business Degree Programs
College of Education Degree Programs
College of Public Health Degree Program
Office of Undergraduate Studies Degree Program
6. Courses (Revised 04/20/2021)
An additional aspect of curricular integration related to consolidation is the alignment of courses to the post-consolidation college structure. This also includes the review of course descriptions and requisites that are misaligned among the catalog, OASIS (Banner) and the Statewide Course Numbering System (SCNS).
The review process is as follows:
The changes are tentatively scheduled to become effective Fall 2022.
Further information related to the Curricular Alignment and the Ad-Hoc Faculty Disciplinary Committees may be found by visiting the Consolidation of SACSCOC Accreditations website.
Per USF Regulation 3.017 Deletion of Courses from Catalogs and Common Course Designation and Numbering System, the University discontinued 662 courses from USF's inventory. The faculty and colleges reviewed the list of courses not offered in five our more years and provided input. The courses have been removed from the 2021/2022 Graduate and Undergradaute Catalogs and have been discontinued in the Statewide Course Numbering System (SCNS) and Banner, effective Spring 2022. The list of courses were provided to the General Education, Graduate Council, and Undergraduate Councils as an informational item.
